The Kenwood BM256 Bread Maker comes in stainless steel and white, has compact design, and is very easy to use and produces consistent results. It has the capacity to bake three kinds of loaves: 500g, 750g, and 1kg and they can all come in white, dark, or medium crust; the model has 12 different baking programs that allow you to bake anything from French breads to gluten-free and whole-grain. The plastic lid is removable and the baking process can be easily monitored; the 15 hours delay timer comes as a great convenience and so does the keep-warm one hour feature.
In normal regime, the breads are baked in a few hours time, but the fast baking option lets you have a freshly baked loaf in 58 minutes. The box comes with one measuring spoon and a recipe book and the manufacturer gives a full year guarantee on this model.

I am really pleased with the bread that this bread maker bakes – the quality is good every time and I have already experimented with a few different recipes. The manual was also easy to understand and I didn’t have any problems with the controls or any of the functions.
Kenwood BM256 is better than the older bread maker that I had to throw away only after six months of use, but way too noisy for my liking. I was excited about the delay timer and wanted to have fresh bread in the morning at least once a week, but if I leave it overnight the noise won’t let us sleep. Apart from that, everything works as it should and I am happy with my purchase.
I love this Kenwood model since it is very compact and looks great too. As far as the bread goes, it is always tasty and with good texture, but I can’t seem to get the crust the way I like it – sometimes it’s white, then dark, then white again and all that while I am using the same recipe and the same program. That isn’t a big issue, but it would have been nice if I could get it right every time.
