The Kenwood BM250 Bread Maker is very reasonably priced, yet high quality bread maker that will give you lovely fresh bread every single time. It comes with no less than 12 different programs that allow you to bake white, French, whole-wheat, or gluten-free bread and also make dough for croissants, pizza, or pasta. The Kenwood BM250 bakes three loaf sizes – 500g, 750g, and 1kg and has a fast baking program, which takes less than an hour to bake a loaf; the fast baking function requires a slight change in the recipe and more yeast, less salt, and warm water has to be added to the mixture.
The 15 hour delay timer enables you to mix your ingredients before going to bed, turn the bread maker on, and wake up to the smell of freshly baked, delicious loaf. You can also choose from three crust types – white, medium, and brown and this bread maker has eight minute power interruption function: in the case of power interruption, this function allows you to resumes the baking process when the power comes back on.
The Kenwood BM250 Bread Maker weighs 6.3kg and has dimensions of 31cm, 34.5cm, and 25cm. The removable lid allows you to monitor the baking at any time and the LED indicators also inform you how far the baking process has gone. The box includes measuring cup, measuring spoon, and recipe book and the product comes with one year guarantee.

Got this bread maker as a present and I think it is one of the best presents that I have ever received! So far I have used it a dozen times and every time the bread is perfect – no exceptions! It rises nicely, the crust is beautiful, and I have even experimented a bit with the recipes and they still worked. It is also very simple to use and I love the fact that it has a timer as well. I highly recommend this Kenwood bread maker!
As soon as I got the bread maker, I started baking loaf after the loaf and I thought that with time, the excitement of my new “toy” would wear off, but it hasn’t. It not only makes great bread, but excellent pizza dough too.
This bread maker has features that will let you bake just about anything! Although I haven’t had much success with ready-mixed bread, when I mix my own ingredients, the results are absolutely amazing and the loaves come out perfect. I have tried using the fast baking program, but the bread came half-baked and that was the bottom half, so from then on I stick to the 3.5 hour program and haven’t had any more problems.
I have had a breadmaker before, but that one didn’t last long, so I was a bit wary of buying a new one, but so far I am quite pleased with this Kenwood model. The bread is tasty, the crust perfect, the machine quite easy to operate – really there’s nothing that I don’t like about it. The secret is to be very careful with your mixes – as soon as you get them right, you will get great bread every time!
