• Super Rapid Option

• Raisin Nut Dispenser
• 10 Bread and Dough Modes
Our Review
With three different loaf sizes: medium, large, and extra large, 13 hours delay function, and rapid baking feature, this bread maker will allow you to bake almost any type of delicious bread at home. The included booklet contains many great recipes and gluten-free bread is not a problem either; you can use the Panasonic SD255 Breadmaker to also mix and knead dough and the dispenser allows you to add dry fruits, nuts, or seeds to the mixture at the right time. As always, the success of using the bread maker will largely depend on strictly following the order of adding the ingredients or you might end up with sunken or flat loaves. The only problem that you might have with this machine is the rather quiet beeper that notifies you that your bread is ready – apart from that, this is a truly fantastic bread maker well worth the money!

This product received five out of five stars in the five stars rating on Amazon. Panasonic must be doing something right because out of 594 customer reviews only 20 of them were below three stars.
One of the users said, “perfect bread every time and easy to use.” Chocolate chips, raisins, you name it; she’s put it in bread. It’s so easy to add ingredients now because she no longer has to stand over the mixture and add them little by little. The machine takes care of all of that for her. And, oh, does she love setting the delay timer so that the entire family can wake up to the smell of fresh baked bread in the ‘oven’.
She has yet to try cake in her Panasonic Bread Maker but is sure that this endeavor is just around the corner. It’s gotten so that whenever she has out of town guests (and she seems to have a lot these days) one of the first things they ask is “will you be making bread in the morning? I just love that smell.” She smiles because she knows that actually she’ll be assembling it tonight and her bread maker will be baking it the morning.
Another user of this product is extremely fussy about her bread, so much so that in fact she insists upon baking from scratch every time. However, she found herself out of yeast one day but had purchased a box of pre-made bread dough mix just for the heck of it when she bought the bread maker. Fortunately the expiration date on it was still good so she gave it a shot, hoping for the best, but expecting the mediocre. She was amazed, to say the least. The bread maker was so impressive that the bread somehow managed to be more evenly baked and the bread was not only lighter but, and here’s the strange part, tastier than she had ever hoped for. Of course she still swears by a loaf of bread made from scratch; some things never change.
The shape of the pedal with its smooth rounded corners mixes and kneads the bread perfectly. She gives the Panasonic SD255 and its design 10 out of 10 points and although she had been convinced that the glowing reports she’d read about this bread maker were exaggerated and over the top, she now agrees with them 100%. This woman is a believer in the old adage “you get what you pay for.” And in this case she is absolutely, positively on board with that statement. She insists that this bread maker is an excellent buy for the money, and well worth it.
A further reviewer says that the Panasonic catch phrase ‘baking the Panasonic way’ is the only way that bread will be baked in her home from this moment forward. Baking from scratch will save them tons of… bread.
Conclusion
The Panasonic Bread maker is a bread maker that makes not only bread and specialty breads, such as gluten free, but also makes things like rolls, sets dough for pizza, sandwich bread, multigrain and 100% wholemeal. Whilst you’re making rye bread or in the kneading mode this machine will automatically add additional ingredients for you (i.e. raisins, nuts, etc.). And if you’re not quite sure how to make breads with raisins in them, no problem!
A few recipes just to get you started will be included in the booklet that comes with the bread maker. No more worries about touching a hot oven either because this handy machine’s housing stays cool to the touch. You can bake your bread quickly or wait a while with the 13 hour delay function. The control pad is angled and easy to access and to read. And in case of a power outage, the Panasonic SD 255 Bread maker has a power interruption 10 minute protection device.
